WE ARE HIRING and looking for an influential and highly motivated Temporary Dispatcher to join our growing team TODAY for 6 month contract. 

You'll be working alongside driven, motivated team members who make coming to work FUN! If you love the Transport Industry and have awesome communication skills along with the ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment, then we want to hear from YOU!!

Job Responsibilities

As the dispatcher, you are responsible from the beginning of the process to the end. Entering the orders into our TMW, building a manifest, dispatching the driver, and following up until the POD is in the system and the order is ready for billing. To do this you are in constant communication with drivers as well as our customers. You will be responsible for dispatching deliveries, preplanning freight for return trips.

Qualifications:

As the successful candidate, you will be self-motivated, results driven and a team player. In addition, you will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience as a Dispatcher in the transportation field with knowledge of relevant regulations is required
• Experience in “hunting” freight through load Boards, supplier distribution emails, customer emails.
• Experience and knowledge of Alberta Provincial shipping regulations and practices.
• Flat deck and LTL shipping knowledge is required
• This position requires an individual who is adaptable; self-motivated, results driven and a team player.
• Successful with building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• An expert at multi-tasking and effectively managing changing priorities.
• High level of detail in performing tasks.
• Proactive, able to identify early on any potential issues, and to implement solutions.
• Experience in Truckmate and Microsoft Office
