We are seeking a Technical Project Lead / Data Architect with deep technical expertise in data architecture and machine learning project delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency with Python, Spark, and MS SQL Server.
This role requires the ability to design and implement complex data architectures, ensure governance and quality standards, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing data analytics and ML solutions. The candidate should also bring strong project management and leadership skills to drive successful execution from design through deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance data and ML solutions leveraging Oracle and modern data technologies.
- Translate business requirements into technical architectures, data models, and analytics frameworks.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of data solutions including data ingestion, transformation, modeling, analytics, and reporting.
- Define and enforce data design principles, standards, and best practices across all data initiatives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful and timely delivery.
- Oversee and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Spark, Python, ODI, and SQL-based platforms.
- Implement and maintain data governance and quality frameworks across enterprise data assets.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding teams on architecture, design, and implementation best practices.
- Continuously evaluate new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve architecture scalability and performance.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, and ML project delivery.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Spark, SQL, and ETL frameworks.
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms in on-premises environments.
- In-depth understanding of data modeling, warehousing, integration, and real-time data processing.
- Strong grasp of data governance and quality management principles.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder engagement, with a track record of delivering complex data projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for complex data architectures.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
