Full-time, tenure-track position beginning Fall 2025 (8/16/2025)

Founded in 1967, Lakeland Community the College now serves more than 9,000 students annually and provides a continuum of education, from offering college credit courses for high school students to preparing students for the workforce upon completion of certificates, associate degrees or transfer to a four-year institution. 

The college is seeking an individual who is excited about teaching and helping to shape the next generation of welders and to continue the growth of our Welding Program. Lakeland’s $18 million dollar renovation of the Engineering building, which is home to the welding program, is expected to be completed in Summer 2025. The renovation will result in two expanded weld shops and a large fabrication lab.  We are seeking an instructor who will be responsible for the classroom instruction, maintaining course records, grading, program curriculum and course curriculum. This will include working with other full-time and part-time faculty at the college to make modifications and changes to best prepare our graduates for either further study or to enter the workforce. This position will serve as the Welding program coordinator.
