Engineer III - Oracle EBS

Confiz is seeking a Techno-Functional Consultant – Oracle EBS to join our Finance Technology Delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, customization, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite Financials, along with ownership of key integrations and functional processes. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Financial modules, hands-on experience with technical components, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:
 

• Define and build data sources, data mappings, and integration points across a diverse Oracle EBS application portfolio.
• Configure and support Oracle Financial modules including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and Project Accounting (PA).
• Prepare functional and technical documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Design Documents (FDDs), and Technical Specifications.
• Collaborate with system analysts, developers, and business owners to support and troubleshoot Oracle EBS financial interfaces and workflows.
• Provide end-to-end production support, including break/fix troubleshooting, software defect resolution, and performance tuning.
• Log and manage Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Support as required for resolving functional or technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and secure coding practices.
• Mentor team members and contribute to the overall technical maturity of the Oracle EBS delivery function.
• Support Oracle EBS upgrade initiatives and data integrations with cloud-based financial applications.
• Apply software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and ensure quality deliverables across design, build, test, and deploy phases.

 

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of experience implementing, customizing, and supporting Oracle EBS (R12), with a strong focus on Financials.
• In-depth functional knowledge of AP, AR, GL, FA, and Project Accounting modules.
• Hands-on technical expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow, and JDeveloper.
• Experience developing and supporting RICEW components and managing data-intensive applications.
• Strong SQL tuning and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with Oracle EBS integrations and familiarity with SOA Suite or similar middleware platforms.
• Understanding of Oracle EBS upgrade processes; experience with 12.2.x upgrade is a plus.
• Prior exposure to Oracle Financials Cloud or integrations with other financial systems (e.g., Anaplan) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to write clean and maintainable code for technical components.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functional, technical, and business teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
