In this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines that facilitate the seamless ingestion, transformation, and integration of data from various sources (on-premises and cloud-based) into the Palantir platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Development: Creating and managing ETL processes to extract data from diverse internal and external sources, ensuring proper formatting, cleansing, and enrichment for downstream use.
- Expertise in Palantir Foundry pipeline development leveraging Python for data transformation and integration tasks.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilizing tools and technologies such as Python, SQL, and ETL frameworks, with a solid understanding of data modeling and metadata management.
- Data Modeling: Developing data models, ontologies, and metadata management strategies to support analytical and operational use cases.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Overseeing data pipelines to maintain operational reliability and performance, performing regular updates, and optimizing processes for efficiency.
- Data Governance: Implementing and enforcing data governance best practices, including metadata management and access controls within Palantir Foundry.
- Cloud Integration: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integrating data from various data sources, both on-premises and cloud-based.
- Collaboration: Working closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
