Sr. Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer with hands-on experience in Cisco switches and Ruckus wireless solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in networking, good knowledge of  and Azure, and expertise in network security. This role requires a professional who can manage and optimize our IT infrastructure while ensuring robust security practices are in place.
Responsibilities:

• Configure, deploy, and manage Cisco switches (core, distribution, and access layers).
• Maintain and troubleshoot Ruckus wireless solutions, including access points and controllers (e.g., ZD1200, R750).
• Implement VLANs, QoS, and advanced switching techniques for efficient traffic flow.
• Administer and secure Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, VMs, and storage.
• Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures.
• Configure and monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions to identify and mitigate threats.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Design, deploy, and maintain Wi-Fi solutions using Ruckus technology.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues for end users.
• Optimize wireless coverage, capacity, and performance.
• Monitor network performance and resolve issues promptly.
• Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure high availability and reliability of systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Generate periodic reports on network performance, security incidents, and compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco switches and Ruckus wireless solutions.

• Experience with Office 365 and Azure administration.

• Proven knowledge of SIEM solutions and network security protocols.Certifications (Preferred):

• CCNA/CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional).

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.

  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.

• Strong understanding of network protocols Routing & Switching.

• Expertise in VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and firewall configurations.

• Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi design and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds) and logging solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
